Edridge Contracting operate in the top of the South Island covering a wide variety of civil projects for a diverse range of clients. In Marlborough they have a base and workshop at Pelorus Bridge along with a quarry and operations site at Kaituna. In 2018 they expanded their operations establishing a presence in the Nelson/Tasman region with an office in Stoke, Nelson and two quarry and operations sites at Marsden Valley and Blackbyre, Appleby. Edridge Contracting have developed a strong civil contracting base undertaking local council, NZTA, government and private works covering:
Subdivision Infrastructure – roading, drainage and earthworks
Roading construction – state highway stabilisation, maintenance contracts, area wide treatment and overlays, unsealed road maintenance and grading and gravelling and pavement works
House site construction
Drainage, water and waste-water works
Driveway, landscaping and gabion wall construction
Edridge Contracting are long standing members of Civil Contractors NZ, with Mike Edridge being a previous National councillor, Regional branch chairman and a local Branch life member. Malcolm Edridge as the current chairman of the Nelson/Marlborough branch.

FORESTRY
Edridge Contracting are experts in forestry roading and skid site, design, construction and maintenance. They support a number of foresty owners in the Nelson and Marlborough region with a long standing and close working relationship with OneFourtyOne (previously Nelson Forest Ltd) where they been providing their forestry roading and skid site design, construction, and maintenance needs in the Marlborough region for over 25 years.

HEAVY HAULAGE
Edridge Contracting has a fleet of modern, powerful Scania transporters to shift your equipment from 5 to 60 tonnes safely and on time to keep you operating. We specialise in heavy equipment transporting to difficult and hard to reach off-road locations and can provide Class I and II pilots as required. Edridge Contracting is a long standing member of New Zealand Heavy Haulage Association.

MOBILE CRUSHING
Edridge Crushing and Screening runs a fleet of modern mobile crushing and screening equipment and wheel loaders that is operated by our long standing and professional team. We can provide your on-site mobile crushing needs across the top of the South, producing a range of high quality products at competitive rates.
Edridge Contracting can provide heavy earthmoving services for on-site aggregate extraction and feedstock cartage while our transporting and cartage teams can quickly establish our mobile crushing operation and deliver your finished product to other locations as required.

EARTHMOVING
Edridge Contracting specialises in large and complex earthmoving projects using their highly experienced team and modern fleet of Cat and Volvo bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks and rollers. Years of experience working in demanding forestry, slip clearing, large civil, dam and irrigation projects have honed their skills to ensure a safe, environmentally sustainable and quality job for your most demanding projects. They provide a range of heavy earthmoving services including:

QUARRY SUPPLIES
Edridge are now the largest privately owned producer of aggregates in the top of the South Island. They provide a wide range of quarry aggregates for the civil and building construction, forestry, farming and landscaping sectors and a range of spec metals for local roading contracts and customers. They service the regions’ aggregates needs through three convenient locations at Kaituna (Renwick, Marlborough), and Marsden Valley (Stoke, Nelson) and Blackbyre (Appleby, Nelson).
A full range of aggregate products (both Quarry & River Product) including spec metal for various applications including building, road construction, gabion basket rock, landscape rock, bedding and hardfill.
Clean fill dump sites are available at all our quarries.
Quarry sites are open 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday or after hours by appointment.
